Providing speech-language support for students in a K-12 school setting requires expertise, compassion, and dedication. This full-time contract position is based in Longmont, CO, serving a school within the Denver area from early January through mid-May 2026. The role is ideally suited for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with active Colorado SLP licensure and DOE certification who thrives in an on-site clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language pathology services to students in grades K-8, focusing on effective communication development and support.
- Collaborate closely with educational staff and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with state and district policies.
- Participate actively in team meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance service delivery.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current and active Colorado SLP licensure.
- Valid Colorado Department of Education (DOE) certification.
- Prior experience working with school-aged children within public school settings preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage students, teachers, and families effectively.
- Commitment to providing on-site services; virtual or hybrid work arrangements are not permitted.
